BSE on Friday said that it will reconstitute its barometer 30-scrip sensitive index -- S&P BSE Sensex -- by adding Kotak Mahindra Bank and Tata Motors' DVR from June 19.

Accordingly, the firm in a circular said that it will drop Gail India from the S&P BSE Sensex.

The reconstitution results were announced by Asia Index Private Ltd which is a 50-50 partnership between S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC and the BSE. The company is best known for calculating, publishing, and maintaining a diverse family of Asian indices under the umbrella brand, S&P BSE Indices.
