The ongoing Premier Badminton League (PBL) will have a Bollywood tadka on the last day of the league, when PBL ambassador Akshay Kumar will be seen playing badminton with actors Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh. The three stars are sports enthusiasts and have keen interest in badminton.

On the occasion of the closing ceremony on January 17, the Delhi crowd in DDA and Squash Stadium at Siri Fort will get to see Akshay, Jr. Bachchan and Riteish play a 15-point game against each other.

After their own game, the threesome will enjoy the finals of the Star Sports Premier Badminton League 2016, cheering the players to go for the kill.

“It will be a great experience playing against Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh in front of international badminton players and Delhi badminton fans,” Akshay Kumar said.

“This league is a huge success in the country as it has drawn attention from all corners and motivated the young generation. Abhishek and Riteish are big sports enthusiasts and participate in various sports. I am eagerly waiting for the badminton match against them in Delhi,” he added.

Junior Bachchan is also excited about this match.

"I have played badminton several times in my life but never in front of star players like Saina Nehwal, Cai Yun and PV Sindhu. Playing badminton against Akshay and Riteish, with whom I worked as a co-star, will be a different experience. I hope to have a good game and give good competition to Khiladi Kumar and Riteish," he said.

“I am expecting a grand show on the court as we will be playing on the sidelines of the Star Sports PBL, which has top-rated players of the world. Playing against my co-stars in front of the crowd will sure be an amazing experience for me. I am looking for an exciting match this Sunday,” Riteish commented.
