Nubra Valley, Ladakh

Nubra is located to the northeast of Ladakh valley. It is a high altitude cold desert with rare precipitation and scant vegetation. The villages are well irrigated and fertile, producing wheat, barley, peas, mustard and a variety of fruits and nuts, including blood apples, walnuts, apricots and even a few almond trees. Most of the valley is inhabited by Nubra dialect or Nubra Skat-speaking people. The majority of the inhabitants are Buddhists.

Nohkalikai Falls, Cherrapunji
Nohkalikai Falls is the highest plunge waterfall in India.Its height is 1115 feet (340 metres). The waterfall is located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on earth. Nohkalikai Falls are fed by the rainwater collected on the summit of a comparatively small plateau and decrease in power during the dry season in December-February. Below the falls is a pool with unusual green coloured water.
Yumthang Valley, Sikkim
The Yumthang Valley or Sikkim Valley of Flowers sanctuary lies in North Sikkim. It is a nature sanctuary with a river, hot springs, yaks and grazing pasture on rolling meadows, surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. It lies at an elevation of 3,564 metres (11,693 ft) above MSL at a distance of 150 kilometres (93 mi) from the state capital Gangtok.
Mizoram
Mizoram in Northeast India, with Aizawl as its capital city, is a land of steep hills, valleys, rivers and lakes. As many as 21 major hill ranges or peaks run through the length and breadth of the state. The average height of the hills to the west of the state is about 1,000 metres. Phawngpui Tlang also known as the Blue Mountain, situated in the south-eastern part of the state, is the highest peak in the state at 2,210 metres.
Andamans
The Andamans has over 600 islands and is home to blue-green sea, pristine nature, dense forests and beautiful marine lives. It forms an archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. The place is famous for its scenic beauty and water sports.
Hogenakkal Falls
Hogenakkal Falls is a waterfall in South India on the Kaveri river in the Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu. It is located 180 km (110 mi) from Bangalore and 46 km (29 mi) from Dharmapuri. The best season to visit the place after the monsoons. Boating in Hogenakkal is allowed during the dry-season as the waterfalls are not strong enough to disrupt the passage of the boats.
