Reality show friendships often grab attention, and one such bond that many fans followed closely was between Apoorva Mukhija and Sufi Motiwala. The two first connected on ‘The Traitors’, where their chemistry quickly turned into a strong friendship. They even appeared together in a storytime video on Apoorva’s YouTube channel, which made fans believe their bond was genuine and lasting.

But recently, fans started questioning whether things had changed. Sufi Motiwala uploaded a new Instagram reel from Australia, where both he and Apoorva Mukhija had been invited for a special ‘Stranger Things’ event.

Viewers quickly noticed that Apoorva was missing from his content.

On Sunday night, Sufi finally broke his silence and confirmed that he and Apoorva are no longer friends. Taking to Instagram Stories, he wrote a long note addressing the speculation. He made it clear that he never used Apoorva for clout, saying that he had only been part of her videos twice, and both times, the content belonged to her, not him.

“I didn’t need her clout. We were on the same show without knowing each other, so it’s not like I needed her for anything. I wanted to be friends with Apoorva, not the image she was building. When there was no accountability for the way I was treated, I distanced myself,” Sufi explained.

He also spoke about the negativity he has been receiving from Apoorva’s fans. According to him, he requested Apoorva to ask her followers to stop the online hate, but she never stepped in. “Sadly, this person who once called me her best friend didn’t care about that or the fact that I was hurt. That’s why I’m not friends with her anymore,” he said.

Sufi ended his note with strong words: “I don’t care if people think I’m a horrible person. I’ve worked very hard to reach where I am. And I won’t let a bunch of children spread lies that discredit my efforts.”

As of now, Apoorva has chosen not to respond to the claims or share her side of the story.
