Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi has once again spoken about a role he feels strongly about, bringing the life of legendary Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh to the big screen.

The actor, who is currently in the news for his upcoming film Do Deewane Seher Mein, revisited a dream he says has stayed with him for years. Interestingly, Siddhant’s own journey in acting began with the cricket-based web series
Inside Edge on Amazon Prime Video, where he played a cricketer dealing with the darker side of the sport.
A dream he has held since 2019
Speaking about the biopic idea, the 32-year-old shared that this isn’t a new wish. According to him, he has been putting it out into the universe for quite some time.

“I’ve been saying it since 2019, and I’ll say it again today — I’m manifesting that one day I get the opportunity to do a biopic on the famous cricketer Yuvraj Singh,” Siddhant said.
Why Yuvraj Singh’s story matters to him
The actor explained that what draws him most is the sheer ups and downs in the cricketer’s life.
He described Yuvraj’s journey as “truly incredible” and compared it to a rollercoaster. Siddhant added that his admiration goes beyond cricket.

“I not only admire him as a cricketer, but he’s also a wonderful personality. I salute his cricket, his lifestyle and his courage to overcome challenges. He’s truly an icon, and the world should know his story,” he said.
What’s next for Siddhant
On the work front, Siddhant will next be seen in the biopic of legendary filmmaker V. Shantaram. His first look from the project has already received strong reactions from audiences.
For now, the actor continues to balance current projects while quietly holding on to a dream role he clearly hopes will become reality someday.
