Hollywood loves a good feud, and Monday night brought a fresh one. When Jimmy Kimmel walked onto the stage of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ on Monday, he clearly came ready. The target? Donald Trump. The trigger? Trump’s furious review of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.
What followed was a sharp, gossipy monologue that mixed pop culture, politics, pure late-night mischief.

Trump’s angry review sets the tone
Kimmel kicked things off by reading Trump’s comments about Bad Bunny’s performance. Trump had called the halftime show “absolutely terrible” and “one of the worst ever.”
He went on to say it made no sense, did not reflect “the greatness of America,” and failed to meet the country’s “standards of success, creativity, or excellence.”
Trump also complained that “nobody understands a word this guy is saying” and described the dancing as “disgusting,” especially for children watching across the US and around the world.
Kimmel didn’t hold back as he read it. “Bad Bunny got a bad review from our bad president, unfortunately,” he joked setting up the roast that followed.
Kimmel fires back with a brutal reminder
After quoting Trump’s words, Kimmel delivered the line that got the biggest laughs. He reminded viewers that Trump once paid off a porn star who, as Kimmel put it, “spanked him with his own face on a magazine.”
The point was clear. Kimmel questioned Trump’s authority to judge what is appropriate for children or what qualifies as moral entertainment.
The crowd reacted loudly, exactly as expected.
Kimmel then shifted his focus to conservative group Turning Point USA and its rival broadcast, the so-called “All American Halftime Show.” He mocked the production and joked that TPUSA should have gone even further.
According to Kimmel, they might as well have aired “the Kristi Noem shoots her puppy bowl,” adding that what they showed instead “was not a good program.”
He continued the jab by saying conservatives constantly complain about how bad everything is, only to remake it in a worse way. “And not only do they do it worse,” Kimmel added, “they do it in jorts.”
Kimmel also noted that Fox News seemed impressed. He said the network thought the TPUSA show was great, and Turning Point itself appeared very pleased with the result.
The show then cut to a clip of a Turning Point USA representative telling Fox News host Brian Kilmeade that the group plans to put on “another halftime show for the country next year.”
The final joke lands hard
Kimmel ended the segment with one last punchline. “Next year it will be Lara Trump with a Ted Nguyen cover band,” he quipped. “They’ve got to do it for the country.”
