During a protest over the SIR issue at Dharmatala in Kolkata, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra asserted that those who are not with TMC are not Bengalis.
Addressing supporters during the protest, Moitra said that people who are not aligned with the All India Trinamool Congress do not have the right to stay in Bengal. She argued that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is fighting the political battle on behalf of the people of the state.
“I am saying this to everyone that those who are not with TMC now are not Bengalis. They don’t have the right to stay in Bengal because Mamata Didi is fighting this battle for the people of Bengal,” Moitra said while speaking at the protest site in Dharmatala.
