It seems the high-voltage drama between Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami and his wife Hasin Jahan are about to end finally and that too out-of-court.

According to a news published in News18, Shami’s relatives are likely to meet Hasin Jahan’s lawyer in Kolkata for a possible amicable settlement. The reason behind their settlement is said to be couple’s three-year daughter.

“Today, Mohammed Shami’s relatives, including his uncle and aunt, are coming to Kolkata to have a meeting with me,” Zakir Hussain (Hasin’s lawyer) told News18.

“They expressed their desire to meet so that the issues between the couple could be resolved. There are enough reasons for Hasina to expose Shami for his acts. We will try to find a way out so that everyone could live with dignity and peace,” Hussain added.

The meeting is likely to take place in Hussain’s Kolkata office.

“We have recorded her (Hasin) statement and are in the process of verifying all allegations leveled against cricketer Mohammad Shami. We will do whatever is necessary to probe the case as per law,” said Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), Kolkata, Pravin Tripathi on Monday.

Earlier in shocking allegations, Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan had accused her husband of domestic violence, several illicit affairs and even match-fixing.

“I married Shami in 2014 and since then he is having several extra-marital affairs. He never considered me as his wife. I told him to stop all these but he ignored. His relatives used to torture me and therefore I have now decided to expose him and have lodged a complaint with the Kolkata police,” Jahan had said to media.

Jahan had even claimed that Shami wanted her to make physical relations with his brother.

On Women’s Day, Hasin had claimed that he could be involved in match-fixing.

“He accepted money from a Pakistani girl named Alishba in Dubai. He agreed to accept it on the insistence of England-based Mohammed Bhai. I have proof. This could be linked to match-fixing,” Jahan said.

However, Indian cricketer declined all the allegations made by his wife. Shami took to social networking site Face Book and wrote, “Ye jitna bhi news hamara personal life ke bare may chal raha hai, ye sab sarasar jhut hai, ye koi bahut bada humare khilap sajish hai or ye mujhe Badnam karne or mera game kharab karne ka kosis ki ja rahi hai. (All these news that are being circulated about our personal life is false. It’s a major conspiracy and an attempt to ruin my name and game.)”

Earlier, an FIR was registered against the cricketer on Friday after his wife complained of domestic violence and adultery.

According to media reports, the FIR was registered under sections 498A, 323, 307, 376, 506, 328, 34 of the Indian Penal Code against Shami and 4 others, following Hasin Jahan’s complaint.

Later, Jahan also alleged that Shami was forcing her to have physical relations with his brother.

However, Indian pacer still believes that solving the issue by talking is the best possible option. Talking to media Shami said, “only patch up” will benefit them and their daughter.

“If this matter can be solved by talking, nothing can be better than that. Only patch up will do good for us and our daughter. If I have to go to Kolkata to solve the matter, I will. I am ready to talk, whenever she wants,” Shami said to the media on Sunday.

Talking to Aaj Tak on Sunday, Shami said, “I am trying to resolve the entire issue within the family. I am ready for all the legal proceedings and I will do whatever I can to save the future of my kid and family.”

“I am a law-abiding citizen and will answer all questions and hope everything is fine soon. I also want the proofs submitted are thoroughly probed. Everything was fine until a week ago and I don’t know what happened so suddenly,” Shami said.

Earlier Shami had claimed that Hasin Jahan is being brainwashed by somebody to level allegations against him. However, Jahan had said Shami was about to run away and ditch her.

“I tried to convince him that he should accept his mistake, I have been trying for very long. He would’ve run away to UP by now if I did not catch hold of that mobile phone, he would’ve divorced me till now if I did not have the mobile phone,” Shami’s wife told ANI.

Recently, after Jahan’s allegations, Shami had denied all the claims and said that his wife had lost her mind and that she was being brainwashed.

“He’s making up all sorts of things to save himself from allegations. Why didn’t the media investigate even after I gave them all details? Till the day I took to social media, I tried to convince him to save our marriage. If he tries to come back I may still consider,” she continued.
