The fourth season of Best Face Best Dress was celebrated with a cheerful evening at the Rotary Sadan, on 14 November, 2025. The award programme aims to bring out beautiful women to the spotlight from all over Bengal. This was essentially a platform for celebration of beauty, both internally and externally. The sponsors for the event were Tantuja, Punjab and Sind Bank, Mrignayani, Surjo Kumar Modak, and Kamalika. Grooming Partner for the event was Keya Seth Lab Fresh. The help of the sponsors made the event beautiful, flawless, and distinguishable among the beauty pageants. Presence of eminent guests at the event made the evening delightful. Musical guests Amrita Dutta, and Deb Choudhury made it extra special and created the ambience for the rest of the evening. The first prize for the programme was awarded to Ayushi Biswas, the runner up was Rajita Dey, and the second runner up was Joyita Maity. The winners were congratulated by all the judges and The Statesman hopes for a very bright future for all the 12 contestants.
1 Ayushi Biswas, the winner of the event said, “Winning this pageant has been a profoundly transformative experience — one that has strengthened my confidence and reminded me of the extraordinary power of self-belief. This journey has helped me grow into a stronger, more refined version of myself, and it continues to inspire me to evolve, aim higher, and pursue greater achievements with renewed determination. 2 Rajita Dev, the first runner up of the programme said, “I am a journalism and mass communication student of the Bhawanipur Education Society College. It has been a really great experience participating in this event. This event has carved a new way out for my future dreams of modelling. In my future, I aim to participate in such beauty pageants and take modelling as a profession. This event has been a thrilling experience where I was able to gather a lot of self-confidence and encouragement. I would sincerely thank The Statesman for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
3 Joyita Maity, the 2nd runner-up said, “It feels great. This was such a unique experience. Participating in such a competition for the first time and coming third made me more confident. Any award and recognition teach people to be responsible for their work and themselves. My responsibility has also increased. I have to work harder. I have to try to fill my shortcomings, to establish myself in the acting world. Many thanks to The Statesman for giving me this opportunity.”
In an exclusive conversation with The Statesman, Shantilal Mukherjee, one of the judges for the evening said, “Beauty is inherently inside. Physical beauty is an obsession with this generation, but it is the soul that is beautiful. If the obsession is towards physical beauty, it is the duty of the older generation more than the young to take responsibility for the abnormal standards of beauty. We have to be aware that skin colour, eye shapes, and weight does not define a human being. It is the personality that makes a human being absolutely beautiful.
