Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reaffirmed that Uttar Pradesh today stands as a national model for law and order, development, and investment-driven growth.

Speaking at the 36th Foundation Day celebration of the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA), he said that the state has successfully created an environment where crime, mafias, and disorder have been dismantled and replaced with security, opportunity, and large-scale development.

“Zero tolerance is not just a policy; it is a sentiment. It is a message that crime and corruption have no place here,” he said. He emphasized that Uttar Pradesh has transformed from a state often associated with unrest to one that celebrates cultural and economic festivals with pride.

During the event, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation of 114 development projects worth ₹408 crore across various sectors of GIDA. He also handed over allotment certificates to five investors as part of the allotment of 115 industrial plots linked to investments worth ₹6,139 crore.

He inaugurated a three-day UP State Trade Show hosted at GIDA and distributed certificates to youths trained in skill development at the NIELIT campus located in the area. The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone for a flatted factory worth ₹34 crore in Lucknow and a Common Facility Centre for ODOP packaging costing ₹3.91 crore in Gorakhpur, while extending incentives and loans to entrepreneurs.
