Tata Steel CEO and Managing Director T V Narendran on Sunday visited Nemra, the native village of former Jharkhand chief minister and ex-Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren, to pay his respects to the late leader.
Narendran met Chief Minister Hemant Soren and legislator Kalpana Soren at the family’s ancestral home and offered condolences. He described Soren’s life as “an extraordinary example of service, dedication and goodwill” and prayed for peace for the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family.
“We will always cherish his contributions and memories in our hearts,” Narendran said, recalling the impact of the JMM patriarch, popularly known as Dishom Guru, on Jharkhand and its people.
