Inspired by the ‘Jan Seva’ ideals of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has dedicated his life to the nation as Pradhan Sevak, the Rajasthan government on Monday launched the ‘Jan Seva Pakhwara’ (service dedicated fortnight) on PM’s birthday, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Wednesday.

Inaugurating the Urban Seva Camp here this morning, Sharma said, “Keeping service and welfare of the most backward and most deprived ones at the forefront, PM Modi Ji had worked on the full range of his cherished agenda for a strong India, from the local level up to the top level in the international arena.”

In the process, the Prime Minister realised the long-cherished aspirations of the people in general and the BJP leadership in particular, accomplishing major tasks that were considered “impossible” for many decades or even centuries,” he said.

“We are all aware that Modi Ji, with his firm resolve, has succeeded in accomplishing a Himalayan task awaited by millions of people for over 500 years — the construction of the grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya,” the CM said, hailing the 11-year tenure of the Modi-led government.

Besides this, the realisation of another long-cherished goal set by the late Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the abolition of Article 370, and the successful execution of Operation Sindoor have further projected Modi Ji as a towering world leader,” he added.

“Our Prime Minister is considered the most powerful leader in the world today, and his words on crucial issues are taken seriously,” Chief Minister Sharma said.

He rounded off the mega pro-people initiatives of the double-engine BJP-led government and highlighted its achievements on these tasks.

He greeted Prime Minister Modi on his birthday on behalf of the eight crore people of Rajasthan.

Sharma also inaugurated the Rural Seva Camp at a state-level function in Bassi near here on Wednesday afternoon.
