A fresh political controversy has erupted around Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha, shifting attention from Parliament debates to sharp allegations. Just days after he was removed from the post of Deputy Leader of AAP in the Rajya Sabha, a video shared by former Haryana AAP president Naveen Jaihind has intensified the discussion.
The development has triggered chatter about what led to Chadha’s removal. The party and the leader now appear to be on opposite sides.
Allegations in viral video create stir
Jaihind posted a video on his social media handles, making serious allegations about Raghav Chadha. In his post, he claimed that Chadha had once been called to the “Sheesh Mahal”, a reference to the official residence used by Delhi’s Chief Minister when Arvind Kejriwal held the post, where he was allegedly made to squat in a humiliating position and beaten.

The above video has now been deleted by news agnecy ANI. Jaihind claimed the agency video of his statement on the Arghav Chadha vs AAP feud may have been deleted under pressure.
The former AAP leader released another video statement on X, reiterating his allegations, claiming that Chadha suffered an eye injury during that incident and later traveled to England for treatment.
In the video, Jaihind addressed Chadha directly, asking why he had never spoken publicly about the alleged episode. He said Chadha often speaks strongly in public and should also share details of what happened in that incident.
Jaihind mentioned that Chadha had once spoken about “a flood coming” and responded by saying that Chadha should also reveal this “secret” from the past.

He also questioned Chadha about what he described as “dealings,” “suitcases,” and “wealthy connections,” though he did not provide specific details. Jaihind repeatedly urged Chadha to show courage and narrate the alleged incident. He also referred to an unnamed woman MP, claiming she had shown courage by speaking about being beaten, and encouraged Chadha to do the same.
Jaihind further asked Chadha to identify the four people he alleged were present at the time of the incident. He claimed that Chadha had cried and that no one had supported him then. He also referred to Chadha’s trip to England, saying people believed he had gone with his wife, but suggested the visit was actually for eye treatment.
Jaihind ended his remarks by saying Chadha should remember “old memories” and speak openly.
In another video, Jaihind escalated his attack and directly addressed Arvind Kejriwal, whom he called “Keju,” questioning why he had “let loose his puppies” instead of “sending dogs.” He also claimed that after his earlier remarks, he started receiving repeated calls from private numbers. According to him, the callers were aides of Kejriwal who allegedly warned him not to speak against the former Delhi Chief Minister.
Removal from Deputy Leader post
The controversy comes shortly after the Aam Aadmi Party removed Raghav Chadha from the position of Deputy Leader in the Rajya Sabha. On April 1, the party informed the Rajya Sabha Secretariat through a formal letter that AAP MP Ashok Mittal would replace Chadha as Deputy Leader.
The letter also requested that Chadha should not have speaking time in the House under the party’s quota.
