After the Enforcement Directorate raided AAP MLA Saurabh Bharadwaj’s residence on Tuesday morning, the party hit back, calling it a BJP-led conspiracy and claiming that AAP is the “most targeted political outfit” in the country’s history.

Former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted that AAP is being targeted as it remains the most outspoken party against the Modi government.

AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “The ED raid at Saurabh Bharadwaj’s house is another case of the Modi government misusing agencies… The way “AAP” is being targeted has never been done to any party in history. “AAP” is being targeted because it is the most vocal voice against the Modi government’s wrong policies and corrupt deeds… “AAP” is not one to be scared of these BJP raids. We will continue to raise our voice against wrong policies and corruption in the interest of the country…”

Meanwhile, AAP leader Sanjay Singh asserted that the ED raids and cases against the party are “false and baseless.”

In a self-recorded video, AAP MP Sanjay Singh dismissed the Enforcement Directorate’s case against Saurabh Bharadwaj as “false and baseless,” pointing out that Bharadwaj was not even a minister during the period in question.

He alleged that the Modi government has adopted a policy of slapping fabricated cases on AAP leaders to harass and jail them one after another. According to Singh, the ED raids are aimed at distracting public attention from what he termed the Prime Minister’s “fake degree,” claiming the timing was meant to suppress discussion on the issue.

While Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa slammed AAP and said that “corruption of thousands of crores was done in the name of the construction of 13 hospitals”. He alleged that AAP has gone to Punjab and is looting Punjab with both hands.

On ED raids against AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj, Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa says, “ED has conducted raids at the residence of AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj in connection with the hospital construction scam. Corruption of thousands of crores was done in the name of the construction of 13 hospitals… AAP has gone to Punjab and is looting Punjab with both hands. I want to request the officers of the Punjab government not to get involved in this loot… I welcome this action by ED…”

In a sharp counterattack, former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia alleged that Prime Minister Modi’s degree is fake.

Reacting to the ED raids on Saurabh Bharadwaj, former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia alleged that the action was politically motivated and linked to recent controversy over Prime Minister Modi’s educational qualifications.

Sisodia claimed that the “real reason” behind the raid was to divert attention after revelations surfaced suggesting the Prime Minister’s degree was fake. Sisodia argued that the case cited by the ED predates Bharadwaj’s tenure as minister, making the raid absurd, and added that “even a child would laugh” at such allegations.

On ED raids against AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj, Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit said it is a move by the BJP to threaten AAP.

On ED raids against AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj, Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit says, “The case related to the hospital is a corruption case. I dont know about the money laundering angle. But I observe a particular style of the BJP. Important anti-corruption cases in which the CBI should inquire are given to the ED. The BJP uses the ED to threaten… They gain political gain from it. They influenced the AAP. AAP also left the INDIA Alliance and is contesting their candidates against the INDIA Alliance. It (raids) may not be about corruption but to influence the AAP…”

On ED raids against AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj, AAP National Media in-charge, Anurag Dhanda says, “Why is this fake raid being done by ED on Saurabh Bharadwaj? This is happening because since yesterday, the whole country has been discussing that PM Modi’s degree is fake, and something has to be done to divert attention from that issue”.
