Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to inaugurate the 65-acre Rashtriya Prerna Sthal in Lucknow’s Vasant Kunj area on December 25, where statues of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, BJP idealogues Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, and Syama Prasad Mookerjee have been installed.
Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth anniversary is on December 25, and the inauguration of Prerna Sthal has been scheduled to coincide with the day.
Following the inauguration ceremony, there will also be a poetry symposium by Kumar Vishwas. Governor Anandiben Patel, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and several other dignitaries will be present.
There are five galleries, displaying photographs of the three dignitaries, stone murals, and live audio-video visuals on digital panels.
An official stated here on Friday that “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive at the venue by a chartered plane from the airport. This plan has been developed due to the long distance between the airport and the venue. In view of this, an additional helipad is being constructed at the venue. There will now be four helipads at Prerna Sthal.”
According to the official, the Prime Minister will arrive in Lucknow around 1:00 pm and will land at Prerna Sthal directly from the airport by chartered plane. An additional helipad has been installed for this purpose.
A museum block, a meditation centre, three helipads, and a large platform for rallies have been developed at Prerna Sthal. A lamp-shaped model will be installed in the museum block. All civil works at Prerna Sthal have been completed. The estimated cost of the project is about Rs 232 crore.
