PM Modi receives Egyptian Foreign Minister, discusses Gaza Peace Agreement, bilateral ties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Friday met with Foreign Minister of Egypt, Badr Abdelatty, and expressed his deep appreciation for Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s crucial role in the Gaza Peace Agreement.

During the meeting, PM Modi highlighted the growing India-Egypt Strategic Partnership, emphasizing its benefits for both the nations and the region.

“India-Egypt Strategic Partnership continues to grow from strength to strength for the benefit of our people, our shared region, and the humanity,” PM Modi said in a post on X, highlighting the growing ties between the two nations.

The meeting between PM Modi and Abdelatty underscores the commitment of both countries to enhance their bilateral relations and cooperation. The India-Egypt partnership is expected to have a positive impact on regional stability and prosperity.

During the meeting, PM Modi conveyed thanks for President Sisi for his leadership in brokering a peace agreement, showcasing India’s support for regional stability.

The discussion also emphasized on the importance of regional cooperation and dialogue in addressing common challenges. PM Modi further expressed satisfaction at the progress being achieved in various areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade, technology, energy, defence and people-to-people ties.
