Lieutenant Governor,  Manoj SinhaGovernor,  on Sunday reiterated that the perpetrators of the Dangri terrorist attack will have to pay a heavy price for their heinous action.

Speaking in his monthly radio programme ‘Awaam Ki Awaaz’, Sinha paid tributes to the civilians martyred in the Dangri (Rajouri) terror attack. Seven persons, including two children were killed in the terror attacks on 1 and 2 January.

Sinha said, “Perpetrators will have to pay a heavy price for their heinous action. Concrete measures are being taken to ensure families of martyrs live a life of dignity. The whole nation stands united in its fight against terror”.

It is worth mentioning that the J&K Police and other security forces even after 15 days have so far not been able to track down the two terrorists involved in the targeted attack aimed at creating panic among the minority community. Police had rounded about 50 persons for questioning in the matter.

Home Minister Amit Shah was unable to fly to Dangri from here on Friday because of bad weather. He talked on phone with kin of the terror attack victims and assured them every possible help.

The home minister assured them that the terrorists involved in these killings will not be spared. He said that a 360 degrees security net to protect the people of Jammu division from terror incidents will be worked out by the security forces.

The Centre has sent 18 additional companies of CRPF to the twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch where Pakistan backed terrorists were trying to revive violence.
