On the auspicious occasion of Govardhan Puja, Patanjali Yogpeeth’s Acharya Balkrishna on Wednesday emphasised the importance of agriculture dependent on cows.
Balkrishna stated that we can only attain disease-free food grains and a prosperous culture through cow-based agriculture.
In his Facebook Live, Balkrishna highlighted the use of sugarcane begins on Govardhan Puja and by the time Chhath Puja begins, its used widely.
He said that the sugarcane is a symbol of sweetness and women across Uttar Pradesh and Bihar collect it and offer it during Chhath Puja because it is considered pure and sacred.
