Noida International Airport to start commercial flight operations from June 15

Noida International Airport on Friday, May 1, announced that commercial flight operations will commence from June 15. This will mark a new gateway for passengers and airlines in the NCR and North India.

The start of services follows the airport’s inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the approval of the Aerodrome Security Program (ASP) by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, confirming that its security systems, framework and operational protocols are in place in line with regulatory standards.

With this clearance, the airport is now set to open open as a new gateway for passengers, airlines and cargo operators in North India.

As per the official announcement, IndiGo will be operating the first flight from the airport, marking the beginning of scheduled passenger services. It will be followed by services from Akasa Air and Air India Express, with further details on routes and schedules to be announced soon.

The new airport has been developed to cater to the rising demand for air travel and features modern terminal infrastructure, efficient operational systems and strong multimodal connectivity.

It is aimed at providing a seamless passenger experience, besides enabling airlines to operate in a cost-effective and reliable environment.

The commencement of commercial operations represents an important step in strengthening regional connectivity, supporting economic development and creating new opportunities for tourism, trade and investment across the wider region.
