The Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) submitted a memorandum to the President regarding the rising burden of fuel prices, the national examination system, and the alleged growing insecurity among minorities, among other issues.

Amandeep Singh Sawhney, NCP’s (SP) Delhi State President of its Minority Welfare Department, said the issues raised in the memorandum submitted to the President would be discussed at the upcoming meeting with the INDIA bloc.

Speaking on behalf of the party, Sawhney alleged that the government has disappointed an entire generation. He added that repeated controversies over the NEET paper leak, the cancellation of exams like CUET, and others related to national examinations have affected the future of many students.

He said that the NCP (SP) Delhi state minority wing recently staged a peaceful protest on Friday—a march and condolence meeting—demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged exam scam.
He said that the party has re-affirmed that it would continue to take people’s issues to the streets until government answers, and resolves their problems.
