As the Lok Sabha takes up discussion on ‘Operation Sindoor’ today, Ms Mayawati appealed to both the ruling party and the opposition to collaborate in developing a strong and effective strategy.
“The government and the opposition should work together so that no woman loses her sindoor and no mother has to mourn the loss of her son in the future. This is the urgent need of the hour,” according to a statement issued here.
Extending her support to the opposition’s demand for a debate on the issue, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister also stressed the importance of a constructive and meaningful dialogue during the ongoing Parliament session.
