Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday. The meeting, which was confirmed by the Prime Minister’s Office, saw the two leaders discussing various aspects of the state’s development and welfare initiatives.

Yadav briefed the Prime Minister on Madhya Pradesh’s ongoing welfare and development projects, including the PM MITRA park in Dhar and the Bhopal Metro’s planned launch in October.

PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate India’s first PM MITRA Park in Dhar on August 25. The Rs 2,000 crore project aims to transform India into a global textile leader. PM Mlodi has also consented to inaugurate Bhopal Metro’s planned launch in October.

The Chief Minister updated the Prime Minister on the state’s progress in anti-Naxal operations, reporting over 10 Naxals eliminated in 18 months.

Yadav highlighted the state’s revised promotion rules, benefiting 5 lakh employees and opening 2 lakh new posts.

The Chief Minister extended invitations to the Prime Minister for several key events, including the Kisan Sammelan in Sehore from October 12-14, aimed at promoting food processing and agri-based industries.

The meeting underscores the strong partnership between the state and central governments in driving development and growth in Madhya Pradesh. With the Centre’s support, the state is poised to make significant strides in various sectors, including infrastructure, agriculture, and employee welfare.
