Hailing the BJP’s historic victory in the West Bengal Assembly polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said the party’s record win in the state would not have been possible without the efforts and struggles of countless BJP workers over generations.
He said the BJP would do everything possible to fulfil the dreams and aspirations of the people of the state and provide a government that ensures opportunity and dignity for all sections of society.
In a series of posts on X following the BJP’s massive victories in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry in the Assembly elections, the Prime Minister said, “BJP’s record win in West Bengal would not have been possible without the efforts and struggles of countless Karyakartas (party workers) over generations.”
“I salute them all. For years, they have worked hard on the ground, overcome all sorts of adversities, and spoken about our development agenda. They are the strength of our party,” the Prime Minister said in a post on X.
“The lotus blooms in West Bengal! The 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections will be remembered forever. People’s power has prevailed and BJP’s politics of good governance has triumphed. I bow to each and every person of West Bengal,” he said.
“The people have given a spectacular mandate to the BJP, and I assure them that our party will do everything possible to fulfil the dreams and aspirations of the people of West Bengal. We will provide a government that ensures opportunity and dignity for all sections of society,” he added.
On the NDA’s win in the Assam Assembly polls, the Prime Minister said the BJP-NDA’s victory illustrates unwavering support for the alliance’s emphasis on development and bringing a positive difference to people’s lives.
“Assam blesses BJP-NDA once again! I thank my sisters and brothers of Assam for the resounding mandate. I also assure them that we will keep working for the state’s transformation,” PM Modi said.
“I applaud all BJP-NDA Karyakartas for their round-the-clock efforts among the people of Assam. It is commendable how our party and alliance have grown over the last decade. Their efforts have ensured our positive agenda has struck a chord with the people,” he added.
Lauding the BJP’s victory in the Puducherry Assembly elections, the Prime Minister said, “Thank you, Puducherry! Based on our track record of good governance and the work of the government led by Shri N. Rangasamy, the people of Puducherry have blessed the NDA with another term. These blessings will add momentum to our collective efforts to boost good governance.”
“I am very proud of our NDA Karyakartas in Puducherry for their exceptional efforts on the ground. They have constantly been among the people and elaborated on our vision and track record. This has ensured people have blessed us again,” he added.
The Prime Minister also thanked voters who supported the BJP-NDA in Kerala and the NDA in Tamil Nadu.
“I thank all those who have voted for the BJP-NDA in Kerala. We will keep raising issues vital to the state’s progress and work hard to realise the vision of a ‘Viksit Kerala’,” he said.
“I congratulate the UDF on its victory in the Kerala Assembly elections. The Centre will always support the developmental aspirations of the people of Kerala,” he added.
In another post, the Prime Minister said, “Gratitude to the voters of Tamil Nadu who supported the NDA in the Assembly elections. We will always remain at the forefront in addressing people’s issues and improving their lives.”
“Congratulations to TVK on their impressive performance. The Centre will leave no stone unturned in furthering the progress of Tamil Nadu and the well-being of its people,” PM Modi said.
