On the last day of campaigning for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, RJD national president Lalu Prasad Yadav held a mega roadshow in Phulwari Sharif, Patna, in support of INDIA bloc-backed CPI(ML) candidate Gopal Ravidas.

The entire Phulwari area was flooded with red, green, and Congress flags.

Addressing the crowd, Lalu Prasad said Gopal Ravidas’ victory from Phulwari is certain, adding that those who have betrayed the Muslim community will face defeat.

He said there is a wave in favour of the INDIA across Bihar and that change is inevitable. “Bihar is set to form a INDIA Alliance government,” he asserted, urging voters to vote for the alliance candidates and guarantee the formation of a government under Tejashwi Yadav’s leadership.

On Monday, the RJD patriarch held a roadshow in Danapur and Digha constituencies in support of RJD candidate Ritlal Yadav and CPI(ML) candidate Divya Gautam, and appealed to the people to vote for the INDIA Alliance-backed candidates.

On the final day of the first phase, hundreds of the INDIA workers joined Divya Gautam’s roadshow in Digha, asserting confidence in her victory.

During the final stretch of campaigning, Divya Gautam said that she had received immense love and support from the people of Digha, adding, “This time, change is certain here, and Bihar is going to see a new government.”
