The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has expressed concerns over the security situation in the country following the late-night explosion inside a police station in Srinagar that claimed the lives of police personnel and left many injured, warning that such incidents point to a collapse of coordination.
AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal and senior party leader Manish Sisodia, including others, have expressed serious concern, alleging that the government’s failing security apparatus is responsible for the escalating breaches.
On Saturday, Kejriwal took to X and wrote: “The news of the late-night blast at a Srinagar police station is extremely tragic and deeply worrying. Several brave police personnel have been martyred and many injured.”
“May God give strength to the families of the martyrs to bear this unbearable loss, and may the injured recover soon. My condolences are with the victim’s families,” he added.
He further said that it is essential to question the government regarding what exactly is happening in the country.
Kejriwal stated that the echo of the explosion in Delhi had not even faded and the nation has been shaken by another one.
Meanwhile, Sisodia wrote on X, “The country had not even recovered from the pain of Pahalgam when first the Delhi blast and then the late-night blast at the Srinagar police station have once again created an atmosphere of fear across the nation.”
Sisodia said what happened is not a routine lapse, alleging that it is the result of negligence and a broken security system.
