Himachal Guv, CM felicitate people on eve of Republic Day

Himachal Pradesh Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu felicitated the people of the state on the eve of Republic Day and wished them a happy and prosperous future.

In his felicitation message, the Governor said that the Constitution is the guiding force of the nation, adding that Republic Day is a festival to celebrate and promote the unity of India. He said that Himachal Pradesh had made unprecedented progress in all spheres and credit for this goes to the hardworking people of the state.

The Chief Minister extended his greetings and said that it was a matter of pride for every Himachali that the state has emerged as a role model for the rest of the country.

He appealed to the people of the state to contribute in making India a safer and developed nation.

The government would continue to work for the welfare and betterment of people, Sukhu said.

He reiterated his commitment to make Himachal the most progressive state of the country and sought participation from all sections of society in realising this dream.
