Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said on Monday that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is being conducted to honour the valour of the Indian Armed Forces.
He added that it is a matter of great pride that under Operation Sindoor, the Indian Armed Forces courageously eliminated terrorists in Pakistan and destroyed their aircraft and weapons.
The Chief Minister made these remarks while participating in a grand Tiranga Yatra in Gwalior. He said that in Madhya Pradesh, Independence Day is being celebrated in every region through rallies, paying tribute to the Indian Army’s achievements in Operation Sindoor.
Before the start of the Tiranga Yatra, Dr Yadav showered flowers on children dressed as great leaders during a programme at Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Square, encouraging them with warm words.
Bikers, army and police personnel, all wings of the NCC, ex-servicemen, students, persons with disabilities, public representatives, and members of various government, social, and voluntary organisations participated, proudly carrying the Tricolour, a symbol of India’s pride and glory.
Throughout the procession, stages set up at various points resonated with patriotic songs, while colourful cultural performances stirred the spirit of nationalism among the crowds.
Rangolis made of colours and flowers adorned the route, while children and artists dressed as immortal martyrs brought alive the sacrifices made for the nation’s freedom and security.
The performances of differently-abled bikers and the MP Police Special Armed Force (SAF) Second Battalion band, both carrying the tricolour, were among the main highlights of the event
