Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the ruling BJP over the Bihar Assembly elections, and claimed that the first phase of voting has already made it clear that the saffron party is losing heavily in the state.

Speaking to reporters at the party office here, he said nearly half the voting took place in the first phase, and the public had made their stance clear. He said, “The people of Bihar want change, and the Grand Alliance will certainly win a majority.”

The Samajwadi Party (SP) president said that his party is against the politics of division, and practices unity, development, and inclusive thinking.

He explained that the party is training its workers to work in their respective areas to add eligible people to the voter list and strengthen the organization. This is not just a political struggle, but a battle of ideas and vision.

Reacting to the Delhi blast, Yadav said the Prime Minister has assured an investigation, and now the entire country is waiting for the truth to come out and strict action to be taken against the culprits.

He said that a strong crackdown on terrorism is necessary, but it is also necessary to understand why such incidents recur and where the failure lies.

Yadav further stated that the Samajwadi Party will soon launch a new programme called “Vision India Plan Develop Ascent.” He said that the new generation wants inclusive development, and this vision of the Samajwadi Party has been designed to advance that vision.

He said that investors come only when the government is ready to provide them with facilities. He recalled that during his tenure, encouraging investment by companies like Samsung had created large-scale employment and development opportunities in Uttar Pradesh.
