The night sky over Ayodhya transformed into a celestial canvas on Sunday as Deepotsav 2025 witnessed a breathtaking, choreographed musical drone show at Ram ki Paidi.
A fleet of 1,100 ‘Made In India’ drones brought the Ramayana to life in the air, turning devotion and technology into an unforgettable spectacle of light, sound and emotion.
The awe-inspiring performance depicted iconic moments from the epic — from Lord Ram holding his bow, Hanuman carrying the Sanjeevani mountain, and the construction of the Ram Setu, to the radiant form of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. Each formation unfolded in perfect harmony with music and chants of Jai Shri Ram, leaving the audience spellbound. The synchronisation of light, motion, and melody created an atmosphere of pure divinity, stretching from the ghats of Saryu to the farthest corners of the city.
As every celestial shape emerged, the crowd erupted in chants of Jai Shri Ram. Thousands of devotees and visitors stood in awe, their faces illuminated by the glow of the drones and diyas alike. For a moment, it felt as though the heavens themselves had descended to bless the holy city.
Last year’s Deepotsav had introduced a 500-drone performance that captured the nation’s imagination. This year, under Deepotsav 2025’s ninth edition, the spectacle reached new heights with more than double the number of drones — all made in India. The immersive experience celebrated not just Lord Ram’s legacy but also India’s technological prowess and creative innovation.
The grand prelude to Deepotsav’s main event turned Ayodhya into a living embodiment of ‘Ram Rajya’ — where tradition and technology walk hand in hand. The musical drone show stood as a symbol of Viksit Bharat and a Viksit Uttar Pradesh, capturing the essence of devotion, innovation, and national pride.
The drone show truly stole the spotlight — a spectacle where tradition met modernity, and Ayodhya’s night sky became the stage for an epic retelling of the Ramayana.
