CM Gupta conducts surprise inspection of State GST office at ITO, directs officials to ensure ‘punctuality and cleanliness’


Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday conducted a surprise inspection of the State GST office at ITO to review the arrangements.

During the inspection visit, CM Gupta interacted with officials and staff to assess the functioning and directed them to ensure punctuality, cleanliness, and an organised work culture.

“There will be no tolerance for negligence, delays, or unnecessary complexity,” the Chief Minister said in a social media post.

CM Gupta stated that trade is the backbone of Delhi’s economy and her government is prioritising making every process simple, transparent, and seamless, so that traders can focus on their work without any obstacles.

She further expressed her government’s commitment to ensuring accountability and making the system accessible to all.

“The Delhi government is committed to ensuring accountability in every department and providing citizens and traders with a system that is accessible, simple, and reliable,” she added.

CM Gupta had also inspected Yamuna ghats to review the ongoing rejuvenation works. During the inspection she directed officials to expedite the desilting works ahead of the monsoon.
