Bomb threat at Ram Temple in Ayodhya triggers security alert

Panic spread after a bomb blast threat was reported at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Following the alert, police and security agencies immediately tightened security across the temple complex and surrounding areas, officials confirmed on Sunday..

According to officials, the threat was received around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday via an emergency call made to the 112 helpline. Acting swiftly, the police traced and detained the caller, who is reportedly a resident of Gonda district.

Police sources said the accused youth is believed to be mentally unstable. Teams from intelligence agencies, along with the Ayodhya police, are questioning him to ascertain the motive behind the call. No explosive materials have been found so far, and no untoward incident has been reported.

Authorities have not yet disclosed the name or detailed address of the accused. Police stated that the matter is under thorough investigation and all necessary security protocols are in place to ensure public safety.
