Various events will be organised in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, on the occasion of his 75th birthday tomorrow.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s Kashi region president Dilip Patel said here on Tuesday that tomorrow , a cleanliness campaign will be conducted in public places and parks.
After this, a blood donation camp will be organised at the IMA. Fruits will be distributed in old age homes, leprosy ashrams, and orphanages.
In the evening, during the world-famous Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, prayers will be offered wishing a long life for the Prime Minister.
Mayor Ashok Kumar Tiwari said that on September 17, development projects worth Rs 111 crore will be inaugurated, and the foundation stone will be laid by the Municipal Corporation. Among these, the projects of road construction, repair work, and drainage are prominent.
Along with this, many schemes, including the mobile animal bandhan vehicle, will be inaugurated.
Besides , a 75 kg laddu cake will also be distributed among the public in Jalkal premises.
Swami Jitendranand Saraswati, National General Secretary of All India Sant Samiti, said that on the occasion of the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Modi, a special prayer will be organised by All India Sant Samiti on 12 Jyotirlingas and 48 Shaktipeeths across the country.
He said that the General Secretary of all the states of Sant Samiti will do Sahastrachan (a ritualistic puja in which a deity is honored with 1,000 repetitions of their name) with 1100 lotus flowers in the Kashi Vishwanath temple tomorrow.
