The Election Commission on Thursday shared booth-level lists of electors who have not filled their forms, the deceased electors, and those who have permanently migrated with all political parties in Bihar, the poll panel said in its daily press update of its ongoing intensive revision of electoral roll in the state.

The move is part of the SIR of electoral rolls aimed at ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the voter list.

The Election Commission claims that 99 percent of electors have already been covered in the SIR process, while 21.6 lakh deceased electors have been identified and reported by Booth Level Officers and Booth Level Agents.

Seven lakh electors have been found to be registered at more than one place while 31.5 lakh electors have been reported to have permanently migrated.

The EC said that the draft electoral roll will be published on August 1 and political parties and electors can file claims or objections regarding missing names or wrong inclusions until September 1.
