Ayodhya is set to create history once again with the performance of the seventh edition of Ramlila during Navratri next month. Bhoomi Pujan for the Ramlila was held on Friday at Ramkatha Park with Vedic mantras in the presence of Ayodhya’s Filmy Ramlila Committee President Subhash Malik Bobby and saints.

According to the organisers, the Ramayan of Ayodhya will be broadcast live on many channels including that of YouTube.
This time, many famous personalities of Bollywood and TV will play important roles in the Ramlila. Famous actor Puneet Issar will be seen in the role of Parashuram, Raza Murad will be in the role of Ahiravan, Rajesh Puri will play the role of Hanuman ji, Avtar Gill will play Janak, Rakesh Bedi will play Vibhishan and Manish Sharma will play Ravana.
Subhash Malik Bobby, president of Ayodhya’s Filmy Ramlila, said that from September 28, Delhi artists will make a 190 feet tall effigy of Ravana.
“This time, Ravana Dahan will be historic. Special invitation has been sent to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak and Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh to attend the Ramlila,” he said.
