Actor Vivek Oberoi is all ready to showcase a key role in ‘Spirit’, the upcoming film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the filmmaker behind anti-women films ‘Kabir Singh’ and ‘Animal’. The film stars the superstar Prabhas in the lead.
The teaser was unveiled by Sandeep Reddy Vanga on Thursday, coinciding with Prabhas’ birthday. It was launched in five languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The short clip teased Prabhas’ fiery avatar and also introduced Prakash Raj and Vivek Oberoi as important members of the cast.

Sharing the teaser, Vanga wrote on social media, “Happy Birthday Prabhas anna. The streets know his rage. Now the world will know his #OneBadHabit.”

The teaser paints a dark and powerful picture. It hints that Prabhas is playing an IPS officer who, for reasons yet unknown, finds himself behind bars. The clip ends with his line, “Right from childhood, I have one bad habit.”
Vivek Oberoi, who is reportedly playing the antagonist, shared his excitement about the project on X (formerly Twitter). “#OneBadHabit is all it takes to get you #inspiritmode. And what a powerful ‘sound story’ that was! Happy Birthday to the Rebel Star, #Prabhas! Super kicked about bringing this action to life with your unmatched magic, @imvangasandeep,” he wrote.

The casting of ‘Spirit’ has seen some changes along the way. Deepika Padukone was initially in talks for the female lead but due to her tight schedule, she had to step away. The role eventually went to the talented Triptii Dimri, who has been rising fast in the industry after her performance in Vanga’s ‘Animal’.
‘Spirit’ is going to hit theatres in 2026.
