Thugs of Hindostan: Aamir Khan’s nose pin and its connection with his school friend

Aamir Khan leaves no stone unturned to ace any character he chooses to play. The 53-year-old actor has time and again surprised us with his attention to details. For his forthcoming film, Thugs of Hindostan, the actor to slip into the role of a thug.

Aamir would be seen sporting a nose pin in the film, which he took as an inspiration from his school friend who relocated from Sindh.

The actor’s school friend wore a distinctive nose pin that fascinated Aamir. The Dangal actor approached his school friend for the nose pin, however, he neither had the pin nor its picture. Therefore, Aamir, solely relying on his memory, designed an exact replica of his friend’s nose pin for his film.

“Aamir sir has an eye for minute details. Not only does he have a vision for his characters, but he also takes every bit of efforts to get the finer details right. It is a lesser known fact, but he observes his near and dear ones very closely and often draws inspiration from them for his onscreen characters. To play a Thug, he imprinted the design of the nose pin his school friend wore decades ago,” a source close to the actor shared.

Earlier, the actor had borrowed Soorma from his mother to compliment his Thug look. Aamir Khan creates a frenzy with every film as he starts a style statement with his every look.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Thugs of Hindostan has Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead. The film is slated to release on 8 November.
