‘The Boys’ season 5 release date: Fans of the dark and twisted superhero world have reason to celebrate. Prime Video has officially announced the fifth and final season of ‘The Boys’, titled Scorched Earth, set to premiere in 2026. The news comes with a striking poster showing Anthony Starr’s Homelander floating in space overlooking explosions on Earth with his signature stern glare.

Another poster teases Karl Urban’s Butcher, holding a crowbar and walking away from a crumbling Vought headquarters, the powerful corporation at the heart of the series’ chaos. Prime Video’s post reads: “Scorched earth. Shock and awe. Blood and bone. All coming 2026, but first, a pit stop at CCXP this Saturday for appetizers.”

Season 5 will see the return of fan-favorite characters. Antony Starr reprises his role as Homelander, Karl Urban is back as Butcher, and Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, Laz Alonso, Jessie T Usher, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Cameron Crovetti, Nathan Mitchell also return.

Adding to the excitement, this final season marks a reunion of Supernatural stars. Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, and Jensen Ackles, who starred together in the iconic CW show, are joining the ‘Boys’ universe. Fans of both franchises have already started speculating how this crossover will shake up the storyline.

New additions include Daveed Diggs promising fresh twists and intense moments in a season already shaping up to be action-packed.

While the official premiere is slated for 2026, Prime Video hasn’t revealed the exact date yet. But fans can get a sneak peek during the CCXP event in Brazil. There the series will offer a “first taste” of what’s coming.

Season 4 of ‘The Boys’ premiered on June 13, 2024, with a unique release schedule: the first three episodes dropped together, followed by weekly episodes.
