The teaser for the upcoming film ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, is out. Directed by Aanand L Rai, the film is being called a spiritual sequel to the 2013 hit ‘Raanjhanaa’, which also featured Dhanush in a leading role.

Music legend AR Rahman has composed the soundtrack.

The teaser, which is just over two minutes long, opens with Kriti Sanon’s Haldi ceremony. The joyous event takes a dramatic turn when Dhanush crashes it, sporting a swollen eye and bruised nose. He walks up to Kriti with a heavy heart, expressing sorrow over the loss of his father.

Following this, the teaser takes viewers through flashbacks showing how Dhanush and Kriti’s characters fall in love. Their romance, however, is far from simple. The teaser ends with a scene where Dhanush, overwhelmed with anger, delivers a chilling line: “May Shankar bless you with a son. Then you’ll understand that the ones who die for love… they, too, are somebody’s son.”

The teaser also features Dhanush delivering another intense dialogue, set against narrow alleys and rising tension: “Pichli baar toh Kundan tha, maan gaya. Par iss baar Shankar ko kaise rokoge?”

The teaser was shared by T-Series, India’s leading music label, on their Instagram handle on Wednesday.

Produced by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow Productions, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ has a strong team behind it, including producers Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar. The film is going to hit theatres on November 28, 2025.
