Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated “ERAS Tour” at Accor Stadium in Sydney, Australia, faced delay due to a sudden storm on Friday.

Despite the storm, concertgoers remained calm and collaborated with management to ensure everyone’s safety.

According to reports, the storm, which included unexpected lightning, came less than an hour before the concert’s start time and prompted Swift and others to seek shelter.

The stadium’s floor and lower bowl had to be evacuated due to a storm and unexpected lightning strikes nearby.

The ERAS Tour’s official social media page revealed the postponement, noting, “Tonight’s show of Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ at Sydney, Australia’s Accor Stadium, has been postponed until the weather improves.” Please remain sheltered and follow the venue screens until further notice.”.

The post further said, “We will provide an update if there is any further official notice.”

The venue continued to send updates to fans, with one post reading, “Accor Stadium staff are busy resetting the floor and preparing the seats for tonight’s event. Everyone is still required to seek shelter until further notice.”

The Bureau of Meteorology, Australia, stated that “earlier this afternoon, the weather system is expected to bring heavy rain and lightning. ” Hinting at a longer wait for the concert to begin.
