When you step into the Bigg Boss house, the cameras capture everything. Be it your laughter, laughter, your fights with housemates, or sometimes even the exaggerations, it’s all there. Season 19 has brought us Tanya Mittal. She is a contestant who has managed to keep everyone talking, but not always for the reasons she might have imagined.
From the very first week, Tanya Mittal made bold statements about her background. She spoke about her family’s wealth, claiming that she has a 26,000-square-foot office and nearly 800 staff members at home.

While quite eye-catching, these statements quickly turned her into the subject of jokes inside the house. Contestants laughed at her claims, and even viewers outside began poking fun.
But behind all the memes and mockery, there is a family watching their daughter face the heat on national television. Tanya’s parents have now stepped in. And, they are requesting people to show a little more kindness.

In a note shared on Tanya’s social media account, her parents wrote about the emotional rollercoaster they are going through.
“We cannot explain the mix of emotions we feel seeing our Tanya on the country’s biggest reality show. As parents, nothing makes us prouder than watching her win hearts. But at the same time, nothing hurts more than seeing her being pulled down, made a target, and spoken about so cruelly by people who don’t even know her heart,” the statement read.
They also asked people to stop passing judgments so soon. According to them, Tanya’s full journey in the house should be seen before making conclusions.
“Your reels and allegations may win you attention, but they leave scars that last a lifetime,” they added.
The Mittal family clearly doesn’t want them dragged into the conversations around the show. “Please keep us, her family, out of this. Every harsh word cuts us too, in ways you may never understand,” they wrote.
Interestingly, Tanya’s on-screen behaviour has also shown a different side that many are slowly noticing. Unlike several contestants who lose their temper, Tanya has avoided shouting matches and has never used foul language in the house. Even during heated arguments, she has kept her tone calm.
