Taapsee Pannu’s “Thappad” turns three

“Thappad,” starring Taapsee Pannu, has been out for three years now.

“3 years of being Amrita, 3 years of leaving this piece of heart behind, 3 years of memories solidifying into milestone And a lifetime of a gift from the audience.@anubhavsinhaa time to stir up the pot again…..#3yearsofThappad,” Taapsee wrote on Instagram to commemorate the film’s third anniversary.

She also shared a few previously unseen images from the “Thappad” sets.

Taapsee played the protagonist in “Thappad”, which was directed by Anubhav Sinha. The film portrayed a woman who refused to tolerate domestic violence for the sake of love and relationships. Her husband was played by Pavail Gulati.

Dia Mirza, Kumud Mishra, Ratna Pathak Shah, Ram Kapoor, Maya Sarao, Manav Kaul, and Ankur Rathee also appeared in the movie in supporting roles.

Taapsee will star alongside superstar Shah Rukh Khan in “Dunki” in the coming months. Rajkumar Hirani is in charge of it. Additionally, she has “Haseen Dillruba 2” in her kitty. Sunny Kaushal and Vikrant Massey will also star in the sequel. The second part will be directed by Jayprasad Desai.

“Haseen Dillruba,” which starred Vikrant, Taapsee Pannu, and actor Harshvardhan Rane in the lead roles and debuted exclusively on the OTT platform Netflix in July 2021, was directed by Vini Mathew and written by Kanika Dhillon.
