Samantha Ruth Prabhu marries Raj Nidimoru at Isha Yoga Centre in a private ceremony: Reports

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has reportedly married filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, the co-creator of ‘The Family Man’. The couple’s wedding took place this morning in a private ceremony at the Linga Bhairavi Temple within the Isha Yoga Centre. According to reports, the intimate celebration included only around 30 guests.

The temple holds special significance for Samantha who has previously shared that she spends hours meditating in front of the deity.

In recent months, Samantha and Raj’s frequent public appearances together had sparked speculation about a budding romance. A recent social media post featuring Samantha hugging Raj at a Mumbai event went viral.

Beyond their personal relationship, the duo are also working together professionally. Samantha and Raj are co-producing a Telugu film reportedly titled ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’, directed by Nandini Reddy. The project is said to be an action-adventure with Samantha in the lead role.

Samantha’s first marriage to Naga Chaitanya

Samantha’s love story with actor Naga Chaitanya began in 2010 after they starred together in the Telugu hit ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’. The couple engaged on 29 January 2017 in Hyderabad. Their wedding followed traditional Hindu customs on 6 October 2017 in Goa, and a Christian ceremony took place the next day, officially making Samantha a part of the Akkineni family.

For a few years, she went by the name Samantha Akkineni, but on 31 July 2021, she removed the surname from her social media fueling rumors of a separation.

The couple confirmed their divorce on 2 October 2021 ending their seven-year-long relationship. Now Naga Chaitanya is happily married to Sobhita Dhulipala.

Filmmaker Raj Nidimoru was previously married to Shyamali De, but the couple reportedly parted ways in 2022. Rumors about Raj’s wedding with Samantha intensified when Shyamali shared a cryptic Instagram story. She stated, “Desperate people do desperate things.” Many fans interpreted this as a reference to the wedding buzz.
