Jana Nayagan ticket price: Tamil superstar Vijay is all ready to make a grand return to the big screen with his final film, ‘Jana Nayagan’, releasing on January 9 to coincide with Pongal festivities.

The film, directed by H Vinoth, marks a major cinematic event as Vijay prepares to step into politics this year with his Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party.

Advance booking frenzy in Bengaluru for ‘Jana Nayagan’

Even before the official release, fans in Bengaluru are showing their excitement. Advance bookings for ‘Jana Nayagan’ in Karnataka have opened. And tickets for morning shows are selling at premium prices.

At theatres like Mukunda, early morning shows starting at 6:30 AM are priced between ₹1800 and ₹2000. And all seats are already booked on BookMyShow.

Other Bengaluru theatres, including Swagath Shankar Nag, Sri Vinayaka, Cinephile HSR Layout, Gopalan Grand Mall, Sri Krishna, Brundha RGB, Vaibhav, and Prasanna, have reported similar sell-outs for morning shows.

Ticket prices range from ₹1000 to ₹1500. Select theatres offer slightly lower rates at ₹800 for shows beginning around 9:30 to 10 AM.

Standard tickets for these later shows are priced between ₹300 and ₹800.

‘Jana Nayagan’ star cast and rumoured plot

‘Jana Nayagan’ also stars Mamitha Baiju, Pooja Hegde, and Bobby Deol. Rumours suggest that the film could be a remake of the 2023 Telugu hit ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ originally starring Balakrishna.

Vijay’s political transition

This film carries extra significance. It marks Vijay’s last cinematic outing before entering politics. He has announced plans to contest in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections this year under his newly launched party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.

Fans are therefore treating ‘Jana Nayagan’ not just as a festive release but as the final glimpse of Vijay before he shifts focus to public service.
