‘Sita Ramam’ turns 3: Mrunal and Dulquer’s classic love tale still captivates

It’s been three whole years since ‘Sita Ramam’ first hit the big screens on August 5, 2022. And even today, this beautiful love story continues to live in the hearts of fans.

At the center of it all was actress Mrunal Thakur, whose powerful performance as Sita Mahalakshmi added real soul to the film.

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, ‘Sita Ramam’ is a romantic drama set in the year 1964. The story follows Lieutenant Ram, an orphaned soldier posted on the Kashmir border. His life changes forever when he starts receiving mysterious love letters from a woman named Sita.

What begins as curiosity turns into deep love, and Ram sets out on a journey to find the woman who touched his heart without ever meeting him.
