Sharon Osbourne has opened up about life after losing her husband, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne.
On Friday, she posted a deeply emotional note on Instagram, thanking fans for the love and kindness they have shown since the singer’s death.
Ozzy, the Black Sabbath frontman known as the “Prince of Darkness,” died on July 22 at the age of 76 after suffering a heart attack. His passing came only weeks after his final performance in Birmingham, England, the city where his journey in music first began.
Sharon, who married Ozzy Osbourne in 1982 after becoming his manager, admitted she is still struggling to find the right words. “I’m still having trouble finding the words to express how grateful I am for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown on social media,” she wrote.

“Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you know. None of it has gone unnoticed, in fact, it’s carried me through many nights,” Sharon shared.
Along with her message, Sharon posted a video montage of her recent day out with her daughter, Kelly Osbourne. The two spent the afternoon learning about falconry and bonding with birds of prey.
“Though I’m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with,” she wrote. Sharon explained how falcons only connect with people they trust. “The connection you make with these powerful birds is entirely on trust and confidence. They choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them. It’s a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical.”
Kelly also posted about the special outing, proudly writing, “Today I introduced my mum to falconry and she loved it!”
