The makers of ‘Thamma’ have dropped the very first song from the film, titled “Tum Mere Na Huye, Na Sahi.” The track went live on social media on Monday and instantly caught the attention of fans.

Universal Music India, while sharing the song on Instagram, captioned it: “Some love stories never die… they keep burning within. Feel the voice, feel the ache with #TumMereNaHuye. Song Out Now. On 21st October, the universe brings us a bloody love story in cinemas worldwide with #Thamma!”

The film’s leading pair, Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana, appear together in this number, and both had plenty to share about their experience shooting it.

Ayushmann was equally enthusiastic and praised his co-star’s performance. “Dancing with Rashmika on this track has been an absolute joy. She is such a fine dancer. Expressive and effortless. Watching Rashmika be her true self in ‘Tum Mere Na Huye’ has been a delight. Her energy and grace elevate the track and make it something truly special. The costumes, the lyrics, and the overall vibe of the song blend beautifully with the emotions of ‘Thamma’. I can’t wait for audiences to feel the chemistry we share in this number.”

The voice behind the song is Madhubanti Bagchi, who was thrilled to return to the team that gave her first big Hindi film song. “’Tum Mere Na Huye, Na Sahi’ is extraordinary because it marks my reunion with the visionary team that believed in me from the start. The composition by Sachin-Jigar and the lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya bring so much depth and beauty to this track. I’m sure listeners will feel every bit of its emotion.”

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal in important roles. The makers are calling it a “bloody love story”.
