The trailer for the new comedy-drama series ‘Rangeen’ featuring Rajshri Deshpande is finally out, and it’s already creating a buzz. The show is going to premiere on Prime Video on July 25, and promises a mix of humour, drama, and emotional honesty that’s not often seen on screen.
At the heart of ‘Rangeen’ is a story about relationships, desires, and the complicated lives people lead behind closed doors.
The show features Rajshri Deshpande in the role of Naina, a woman who refuses to live inside the labels society puts on her.
Talking about her role, Rajshri said, “’Rangeen’ is not just another story about betrayal or romance. It’s about the messy parts of life that we usually hide. Naina is not perfect. She wants more from life, more love, more meaning, more freedom. And she is not afraid to chase it, even if it leads to chaos.”
She added, “What I love about ‘Rangeen’ is that it doesn’t make women into simple characters. It lets them be real, flawed, confused, and still lovable. This is the kind of role I’ve always wanted to play.”

The series is produced by Kabir Khan and Rajan Kapoor, and created by Amardeep Galsin and Amir Rizvi, who also wrote the story. The directors, Kopal Naithani and Pranjal Dua, have brought this unusual tale to life with a bold and fresh approach.
The show also stars Viineet Kumar Singh, who plays Adarsh, a middle-aged man whose life turns upside down after he finds out that his wife, Naina, has betrayed him. But ‘Rangeen’ is not a typical revenge drama. It’s about how Adarsh deals with the shock and confusion in ways that are both funny and emotional.
Viineet Kumar Singh shared his thoughts about the role, “Adarsh is a very real person. He is not perfect, but he tries to do the right thing. Playing him was exciting because he reacts to betrayal with humour and quiet strength, not loud drama. That’s what makes the story special.”
Other actors in the series include Taaruk Raina and Sheeba Chaddha, adding more layers to the story.
