Rajat Bedi is back! ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ villain joins Aryan Khan’s ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’

For many, the name Rajat Bedi instantly brings back memories of his menacing presence in ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’ where he troubled Hrithik Roshan. After spending years away from Hindi screens, the actor is finally stepping back into the spotlight with Aryan Khan’s much-talked-about debut series ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’.

The trailer of the show dropped on Wednesday, and even in his blink-and-miss appearance, fans quickly spotted Bedi.

Social media was filled with excitement, with many calling it the “return of the OG villain of Bollywood.”

At the official preview event, Shah Rukh Khan himself introduced Bedi’s character, Jaraj Saxena.

Rajat Bedi’s career began in the early 1990s with films like ‘Karan Arjun’ (1995) and ‘2001: Dobara’ (1998). However, television gave him his first steady space with the series ‘Humrahi’ in the mid-90s.

His true breakthrough came in 2003 with Rakesh Roshan’s ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’, where he played the antagonist against Hrithik Roshan’s Rohit.

Over the years, he went on to feature in more than 40 films, including ‘Rakht’ (2004), ‘Khamoshh… Khauff Ki Raat’ (2005), ‘Partner’ (2007) and ‘Rocky – The Rebel’ (2006). His career also saw him on television in shows like ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ and ‘Aahat’.

While he often played negative characters, Bedi’s filmography is not restricted to them alone. He has been part of action-packed thrillers, comedy entertainers, and emotional dramas.

Now, fans are curious to see how his character Jaraj Saxena fits into the world Aryan has created.
