Nothing more ignorant than cheering for war: Pakistan actor Mahira Khan

Pakistan Actor took to twitter to express her views after the recent Indian Air Force strike on terror camps in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir(PoK) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan.


Her tweet was a response to Fatima Bhutto, author and granddaughter of former Pakistan Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, tweet. “There is nothing uglier than people cheering for war.”
Mawra Hocane, who was seen in the Indian film Sanam Teri Kasam, feels it is time to put humanity first. “It is time we understand this as humans. The media needs to take charge and stop being provocative. It’s our duty to inculcate peace and use our words for better and not worse. Praying for peace always,” she posted on twitter.


Other members of the Pakistani Film Industry also shared their views.
Fahad Mustafa said, “War does not determine who is right …Only who is left. Say no to war.”

On Tuesday, after the air strikes, the Pakistan government announced a boycott of Indian movies as well as Made in India advertisements in the country. Earlier, All Indian Cine Workers Association( Aicwa) had announced a blanket ban on Pakistani artists working in the Indian Film Industry, following the Pulwama attack.
