Pratik Gandhi, known for his powerful performances in ‘Scam 1992’ and ‘Phule’, is gearing up for a completely different avatar. This time, he will be seen navigating the dangerous world of intelligence and espionage in the upcoming Netflix series ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’.
Set against the backdrop of the 1970s, the series promises a tense, atmospheric journey into covert operations.
Gandhi plays Vishnu Shankar, an intelligence officer caught in the thick of a mission where time is of the essence and every decision can tilt the scales between life and death.
According to the makers, the show is not just about spy gadgets and disguises but dives deep into the psychological pressure of those working in the shadows, away from the public eye.
Talking about his role, Gandhi shared, “This series revolves in a world that’s urgent, intense, and full of silent tension. Playing Vishnu Shankar meant stepping into the shoes of someone who constantly balances patriotism with personal morality. It’s one of the most demanding characters I’ve had the chance to play, and I’m excited for the audience to experience this with us.”

That film released in theatres on April 25 and received praise for its portrayal of historical social justice movements.
